Just a few more shots from the (still) new Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR lens. Even though it's so small and light, and can be hand held, it's tough to do so (at least for me) simply because of the focal length. For me (and it may be a function of my age), anything over 50mm tends to move around a lot. Most of these were shot hand held. The one exception is the last one of my friend Savannah. That one was on a monopod. I'm going to go out tomorrow and shoot more with it on the monopod. We'll see if that makes controlling that longer focal length easier to handle. In the meantime . . . All photos were shot in manual mode with auto ISO.
