World Wildlife Day

I've been thinking about #worldwildlifeday and wondering -- considering the rate at which poachers are murdering these magnificent animals, will the day come that the only ones left are the ones that, like these, live in zoos? I'd love for them all to be free, but would setting them free be a death sentence for their entire species?
